odette was born into a traveling circus family, the youngest child of six other siblings. being the only child without a matching pair and being the youngest she felt the need to push herself more than her other siblings so that she could stand out against the rest of them.she spent her days learning every act avaliable, eventually burning herself out so bad she couldn't preform without incident. she did everything she could for years, trying to impress her family to make them accept her. eventually she left and changed her name to odelya.she found herself at the fatui's doorstep, landing herself a position as the balladeer's assistant. she strives every day to do everything to make him happy, even if her bubbly personality is the opposite of her boss'.
